WorkSpan overview

WorkSpan automates co-selling. It is sold in two editions: a Hyperscaler Edition for companies listing and selling through AWS, Microsoft and Google Cloud, and an Ecosystem Edition for co-selling with ISV, systems integrator and reseller partners. Across both it handles marketplace transactions, shared pipeline and revenue tracking, partner lifecycle management, and joint revenue planning, with partner intelligence surfaced inside the tools sellers already use rather than in a separate portal.

What separates it from other marketplace tools

It is a network, not just a platform. Both sides of a co-sell relationship can operate on WorkSpan, which means a referral or joint opportunity can move between two companies as a shared record rather than being exported by one and rekeyed by the other. That matters most where co-selling volume is high and the counterparty is large enough to have its own process.

The second point is direct connection to the hyperscalers' own systems, AWS Partner Central and Microsoft Partner Center. Anyone who has run a cloud co-sell motion knows the tax involved in keeping deals synchronised between a CRM and a hyperscaler portal by hand. Removing that is the concrete, measurable value, and it is why the customer set includes both software vendors and the cloud providers and integrators themselves: Google Cloud, Palo Alto Networks, Deloitte and Boomi.

The trade-off is that value scales with the size of the co-sell motion. A company with a handful of joint opportunities a quarter will not recover the cost of an enterprise co-sell platform, and should manage the process in the CRM until volume justifies the change.

Who it fits

Software vendors with a substantial hyperscaler co-sell motion, global systems integrators, and cloud providers running partner programmes at scale. This is enterprise co-sell infrastructure and is priced and scoped accordingly.

Ownership and company background

Founded in 2015 and based in San Carlos, California. Venture backed through a Series C, with investors including Storm Ventures, BlueRun Ventures and Accenture Ventures. Accenture Ventures as an investor is worth noting given that global systems integrators are also a core customer segment.

Pricing

Not published. Enterprise contracts are quoted through sales.

Integrations

AWS Partner Central and Microsoft Partner Center for hyperscaler co-sell, plus CRM integration so co-sell activity is visible where sellers already work. Confirm the specific CRM and marketplace combination you need during evaluation.
