Magentrix overview

Magentrix builds partner portals on its own platform-as-a-service. The PRM covers partner self-registration and program tiers, deal registration with amendment and exclusivity tracking, lead distribution, a built-in LMS with certifications and learning paths, co-branded collateral, MDF, rewards and redemption, business planning, surveys, events and a channel manager dashboard. The same platform also runs customer portals, sold separately. AI features include a retrieval chatbot over your own content, deal registration by email, and an MCP connector that lets an external AI assistant reach portal data under the portal's existing security roles.

What separates it from other PRMs

The CRM integration. Most PRMs connect to a CRM by mapping fields, which has to be maintained whenever the CRM schema changes. Magentrix mirrors the CRM schema directly, so adding a field in Salesforce makes it available in the portal without remapping. This applies to Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. The company states plainly that its HubSpot integration does not mirror data, citing HubSpot API limitations, so the architectural advantage does not extend there. Worth knowing before shortlisting on this basis.

The second is extensibility. Because the PRM sits on a general platform, Magentrix ships a developer console, a CLI and development sandboxes, so custom modules can call internal systems and run inside the portal rather than beside it. The company positions the product as an alternative to Salesforce Experience Cloud, and notes that no additional CRM licences are needed to use it.

The trade-off is the stack those customisations are written in. Extensions use ASP.NET or C# in an MVC framework, which is an unusual skill set in companies whose engineers work in JavaScript or Python. Everything out of the box is point-and-click, so most teams will not need it, but a team planning heavy customisation should check it has, or can hire, that capability.

Who it fits

Companies whose CRM is the system of record and whose partner data model is complicated enough that field mapping becomes a maintenance burden. Customers the company names include Zapier, Legrand, Bühler, AudioCodes, SecureAuth, Pigment, Glassbox, Otava, Ubicquia and Magaya.

Ownership and company background

Founded in 2012 by two former OpenText developers, Sam Arjmandi and Vahid Fotovat, who remain CTO and CEO. The company states it has raised no outside capital and has been profitable from the start, with a team of around 35. It reports ISO 27001 certification and a SOC 2 Type II report completed in October 2025, with hosting on Tier III infrastructure in Canada.

Pricing

Published, which is rare in this category. Checked on 6 August 2026, the partner platform starts at US$1,500 a month for Essentials and US$3,000 a month for Advanced, with an Unlimited tier quoted on request. Essentials includes either 100 partner users or 10 partner accounts with unlimited users; Advanced includes either 150 partner users or 20 partner accounts. Prices are based on an annual contract, and month-to-month carries a 10 percent surcharge. There are no setup or onboarding fees. Storage is capped at 100 GB of files and 2 GB of records, with more charged per gigabyte. MDF, business planning, custom hubs and the developer tools sit in Advanced and above. There is no free trial.

Integrations

Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics with schema mirroring, HubSpot without it. A REST API, Zapier and Make.com, Slack alerts, Adobe Sign and YouSign for e-signature, and Stripe, Authorize.Net, PayPal Express Checkout and Moneris for payment collection. Single sign-on covers SAML 2.0 providers plus Google and LinkedIn.
