Channelscaler
PRM and channel program automation for multi-tier channel programs. Formed from the 2024 merger of Allbound and Channel Mechanics.
Facts checked against primary sources on 6 August 2026.

Channelscaler is a partner relationship management platform aimed at traditional multi-tier channel programmes rather than SaaS referral programmes. Alongside the usual PRM pieces (partner portal, deal registration, onboarding, training and enablement, lead distribution, performance dashboards) it covers the operational machinery that resellers and distributors need: rebates and partner commissions, sales promotions and SPIFFs, market development fund management, renewals management, and partner tiering and compliance.
The platform is sold as modular, so a programme takes the parts it needs. It integrates with CRM, LMS, CPQ and payment systems, which reflects the buyer it targets: companies where partner data has to reconcile with financial and quoting systems, not only with a CRM.
What separates it
The incentive and channel-programme machinery. Most PRM tools stop at the partner relationship. Channelscaler also handles what a distribution channel generates around it: rebates, SPIFFs, MDF requests and approvals, renewals, and tier compliance. Vendors selling through distributors and resellers need that, and it is the reason to look here rather than at a SaaS-oriented PRM.
The trade-off is the mirror image of that strength. For a software company running affiliate or referral partners who need tracked links and automated commission payouts, this is heavier machinery than the job requires.
Who it fits
Vendors with multi-tier channels and established distributor or reseller networks. The company names customers including SAP, Cisco, HP, Broadcom and Extreme Networks, which indicates the size of programme it is built for. Less suited to a young software company launching its first referral programme.
Ownership and company background
Channelscaler is the current name of two companies that merged in 2024: Allbound, a US partner relationship management vendor, and Channel Mechanics, an Irish channel programme automation vendor. The combined company rebranded as Channelscaler, retiring both original names. allbound.com now serves the Channelscaler site.
The practical consequence for anyone researching this category: comparison articles and review-site listings still discuss Allbound and Channel Mechanics as separate products. They are one product. Reviews written before the merger describe software that has since been combined, and should be read with that in mind.
