Impartner overview

Impartner sells partner relationship management software for companies running indirect sales through resellers, distributors, OEMs and referral partners. The platform covers partner recruitment and application workflows, guided onboarding, training and certification, deal registration with real-time CRM sync, lead distribution, a co-brandable asset library, MDF and rewards administration, partner business planning, and reporting on indirect pipeline. Through-channel marketing adds partner-facing email, social and content syndication under the names News on Demand and Social on Demand.

What separates it from other PRMs

Two things stand out. The first is Orchestration Studio, an integration platform built into the product. Instead of shipping a fixed set of connectors and leaving everything else to a separate tool, Impartner lets teams build visual workflows against its own connector library, which includes Snowflake, ServiceNow, ConnectWise, DocuSign, Credly, Docebo, NetSuite, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI and Anthropic Claude. Where partner processes touch systems beyond the CRM, that removes a separate integration purchase.

The second is its position in the Microsoft ecosystem. Impartner is listed on Microsoft AppSource and markets itself directly to Dynamics 365 customers, alongside a Salesforce managed package that has been on AppExchange for over a decade and a listing on the HubSpot App Marketplace. HyperscalerGTM, launched in 2025, extends the same idea towards cloud marketplace co-selling.

The trade-off is that capability is sold as named modules. PRM, through-channel marketing, MDF, Program Compliance Manager, Rewards Management, Business Planning and Orchestration Studio are presented as separate products, so two Impartner quotes can describe quite different systems. Establish which modules are included before comparing prices against a single-product PRM.

Who it fits

Large enterprises with established channel programs. The customers Impartner names skew heavily that way: Honeywell, Xerox, Siemens, Samsung, Lenovo, Stanley Black & Decker, T-Mobile for Business, ADP, Visa, Mastercard, Palo Alto Networks, Sophos, Proofpoint, GitLab, Okta, Qualtrics, Vertiv, CommScope and CDW. A small team with one partner motion will find both the module structure and the enterprise sales process heavy.

Ownership and company background

The company was founded in 1997 as TreeHouse Interactive and took the Impartner name in July 2015, the same year Joe Wang and the growth equity firm Kennet Partners acquired majority ownership. Wang is still Chairman and CEO. Impartner acquired the referral management company Amplifinity in 2019.

Brighton Park Capital led a US$50 million round announced on 13 October 2021, with participation from Savant Growth, Emergence and Golub Capital, taking total funding past US$113 million. Brighton Park lists Impartner as a portfolio company. Aggregator databases record a further ownership event in May 2022, but no primary source confirms it, so the current ownership split should be treated as unpublished.
