Nango is infrastructure for the integrations a software product exposes to its own customers. Developers write the integration logic as code, and Nango takes the parts that are the same for every integration: an embedded authorization interface, credential storage and token refresh, one connection record per customer, scheduled syncs and actions, webhook handling, retries and logs.

What separates it from other embedded platforms

It is code-first and open source. The integration is a file in your repository that your engineers review, test and deploy like any other code, rather than a flow drawn in a vendor's builder. Nango's own writing rejects the embedded iPaaS label for that reason. This directory categorises by mechanics rather than by the label a vendor prefers, and the mechanics are the same: customer-facing integrations, per-customer connections and managed infrastructure underneath.

The other difference is the free entry point. Authorization and a small number of connections cost nothing, so a team can put an OAuth flow in production before deciding whether to buy anything.

The trade-off is that you keep the integration work. Nango removes the plumbing, not the logic, so there is no scenario where a non-engineer ships an integration. Usage is metered across several dimensions at once, including connections, requests, compute time, function runs, logs, stored records and webhooks, which takes some modelling to forecast.

Who it fits

Product and engineering teams that want to own their integration code and are building enough integrations for the surrounding infrastructure to be worth outsourcing. The company names Motion, Replit, Mercor and Ramp among its customers, and says more than ten thousand engineering teams have used the platform.

Ownership and company background

Robin Guldener and Bastien Beurier founded Nango, which went through Y Combinator's Winter 2023 batch. Y Combinator and LinkedIn record 2022 as the founding year, while the company's own funding announcement dates the start of the product to 2023. It is based in San Francisco and works remotely, and current headcount reporting sits between six and fourteen depending on the source. The company raised $7.5 million in seed funding led by Gradient announced on 1 April 2026, with Horizon and Y Combinator participating, and says it was cashflow positive before the round. Seed is the last confirmed stage.

Pricing

Published, and checked on 6 August 2026. Free is $0 with 10 connections. Starter begins at $50 per month with 20 connections, Growth at $500 with 100, and Enterprise is custom. Every plan includes allowances for requests, compute time, function runs, logs, records and webhooks, with per-unit overage rates beyond them.

Integrations

More than 900 APIs across about 30 categories, with the integration logic for each one open source and editable rather than fixed by the vendor.
