LearnUpon delivers courses, certifications and learning paths to audiences outside a company's own workforce as well as inside it. Partner education is one of the named use cases, alongside customer education and employee training. Each audience can have its own portal with its own branding, catalogue and reporting, which is the mechanism that makes it usable for partner programs.

What separates it from other enablement tools

The portal model. A partner program is not one audience but many companies, often with different products, regions and tiers, and each portal can carry its own content and rules while administration stays central. That is a different structure from partner enablement built into a PRM, where training is usually one module for everyone in the program.

Because it is a full learning platform, certification tracking, recertification and completion reporting are first-class rather than approximations. The cost is that it is a learning system rather than a partner system: it does not manage deals, leads or commissions, so it sits next to a PRM instead of replacing one, and the two need to be connected for training status to show up beside partner performance.

Who it fits

Companies whose partner enablement has outgrown a content library and now needs structured curricula and certifications, particularly those already running customer education who want one platform for both. The customer education plans start at 300 users, which sets a floor on program size.

Ownership and company background

LearnUpon was founded in 2012 in Dublin, Ireland, with offices in Philadelphia, Sydney and Belgrade. Summit Partners made a $56 million minority growth equity investment announced on 20 October 2020, when the company reported more than 1,000 customers and about 180 employees. It remains independent with Summit as a minority investor, and no acquisition or merger was found in this review. The product line is active: the company launched AI-based content authoring on 26 March 2026.

Pricing

Not published. Plans are quoted, and the customer education tier starts at 300 users. White labelling, e-commerce and group branding sit on the enterprise tier.

Integrations

The vendor names HubSpot among its connections, with an API and single sign-on covering the rest. Confirm CRM and PRM connections against your own stack during evaluation, because the public integration list is short.
