FirstPromoter

FirstPromoter runs affiliate, referral and ambassador programs for companies that sell subscriptions. It tracks who sent a customer, calculates recurring commissions from billing events, gives each promoter a dashboard with their links and earnings, and prepares the payouts. Programs can be split into separate campaigns with their own commission rules, and rewards can be cash, credit or a custom incentive.

What separates it from other affiliate tools

Three things are unusual for a product at this price. It handles three partner types in one account rather than only paid affiliates, so a customer advocate program and a commercial affiliate program can run side by side under different rules. It reads recurring billing rather than single transactions, so commissions track the subscription over time. And the plans are drawn against monthly affiliate revenue rather than seats or contacts, which keeps the cost of a program proportional to what it earns.

The limits follow from the same design. This is tracking and payout infrastructure, not partner relationship management. There is no deal registration, no reseller margin model and no certification tracking, and partner recruitment is left to you.

Who it fits

Subscription software companies with a self-serve or low-touch sales motion that want a program running quickly without a procurement cycle. The vendor says more than 3,000 companies use it. Teams that need CRM-driven partner workflows should look at a PRM instead.

Ownership and company background

The company says it has operated since 2017, though its site copyright range starts in 2016, so treat the year as approximate. The operating company named in the current terms is Igil Webs SRL, a Romanian company at Strada Ploiesti 9 in Cluj-Napoca. It is privately held, with no funding round, acquisition or merger found in this review, and the team page names six people. That small headcount is worth knowing before signing a large program to it.

Pricing

Published, and checked on 6 August 2026. Starter is $49 per month for up to $5,000 of monthly affiliate revenue, Business is $99 for up to $15,000, and Enterprise starts at $149 above that. The trial is 14 days with no credit card required.

Integrations

Stripe, Chargebee and Paddle for billing, Zapier, Make and Albato for automation, and PayPal and Wise for paying promoters. A REST API and webhooks cover anything not on that list.
