PartnerStack is a partner relationship management platform for B2B software companies. It runs affiliate, referral, co-sell and influencer programs side by side in one account, rather than treating each as a separate system. The platform covers partner recruitment, onboarding and training, tracking of partner-sourced leads with two-way CRM sync, performance reporting that both sides can see, and commission payouts consolidated into a single monthly invoice however many partners are being paid.
What separates it from other PRMs
Most PRM tools give you the software to run a program and leave finding partners to you. PartnerStack also operates a marketplace where partners browse programs and apply to join, so a new program launches in front of an existing audience rather than an empty portal. That marketplace is the company's main point of difference, and it is why PartnerStack appears in affiliate software comparisons as often as in PRM ones.
The trade-off is scope. The platform is built around performance-based partners who earn commission on tracked activity, which fits affiliate, referral and influencer programs closely. Programs built on reseller margins, deal registration with contested-lead arbitration, or formal certification tracking may find it lighter in those areas than PRM suites aimed at traditional channel programs.
Who it fits
B2B software companies, particularly those where a customer can buy without a long sales cycle, and teams that want one system for several partner types instead of separate affiliate and referral tools. Companies the vendor names as customers include monday.com, Stripe, Freshworks, Apollo, PandaDoc, Aircall and Gorgias.
Ownership and company background
The company was founded as GrowSumo, went through Y Combinator in 2015, and later took the PartnerStack name. It raised a US$29 million Series B in May 2021, led by 3L Capital with Whitecap Venture Partners, HarbourVest and RRE.
AppDirect acquired PartnerStack in a deal announced on 14 April 2026. AppDirect had already acquired Tackle.io, a cloud marketplace go-to-market platform. PartnerStack told customers that programs, contacts and the platform stay as they are, and that integration across the products would run over several months. Anyone evaluating the platform on a multi-year horizon should ask where that integration currently stands.
Pricing
Not published. The company states that pricing depends on program size, feature requirements and support level, and is confirmed during a demo. It does not cap the number of partners in a program or the number of internal users on an account, and says guided onboarding is included on all plans.
